What Neuroscience & NVC have to offer

In this Level 1 Nonviolent Communication training with CNVC Trainer Peggy Smith:

  • You will practice skills for thinking and relating that build connection, even with people we are in conflict with.

  • You will learn about Interpersonal Neurobiology - what is happening in our bodies when we are reactive .... and how to build self-regulation capacities.

  • You will have fun and learn empowering ways of being a constructive person, partner, parent, community member, citizen.

You will have the opportunity to experience:

  • Practical skills you can put to use immediately

  • An understanding of the basic human needs

  • A new way to listen (to yourself and others)

  • An understanding of the difference between thoughts and feelings

  • A felt experience of empathy

This program has been approved for (#) Category A Continuing Education Credits by the National Association of Social Workers, NH Chapter. CEU # 3585

SCHEDULE

Friday, November 1 from 6:00 - 8:00pm

Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Sunday, November 3 from noon - 4:00 pm

Notebook & Pen, plan to attend to your own food needs, hot water will be provided so feel free to bring your own mug and tea bags
